Roma Rain Boots Review and Charity Information

This year has been off the hook!  We have had snow, we have had rain.  Really?  If I wanted all the precipitation we have had this year?  I would move to Seattle!  Nothing wrong with Seattle of course!  One of the places I plan to visit.  However, they get rain.  Lots and lots of rain.  Well, the Mid-Atlantic was the East Coast version of Washington.  I've never owned rain boots.  Ever...  Now?  You bet I do!

Roma sent me a pair of their boots to review.  I received a pair of their brown adult boots.

These boots are so comfortable!  They were easy to walk in and I didn't feel that my feet were being squished.  And the best part? My feet stayed dry! I know.  I'm easy to please!  lol. More about the boot from their site:

Roma boots are the perfect choice for style and comfort. In Matte Brown, our all-weather rain boot is naturally stunning and modern.
Outsole: Traditional natural rubber sole
Made from 100% Natural Rubber
Lining: Quick dry knitted cotton lining
Footbed: Multi-layer cushioned insole
Height: 38 cm, 1" heel, Rounded Toe
(Size down for half size)

I did have to size down for the half size and they fit perfectly!

Now, Roma Boots serve double duty.  One, yes, they keep your feet dry!  Two, they are all for charity!  While their product is sold in the US, they have a company, Roma for all, which aims to make sure children living in poverty, in wet climates, have the appropriate footwear.  From their website:

Providing proper footwear is the first step to helping this underserved population of children. Our broader plan is to empower these children to break out of the cycle of poverty by getting them back into the education system where they can learn to take care of themselves.

How awesome is that?  I love this service that they provide to those in need.  Check out this video:

For every purchase you make, a pair of boots will be donated to those in need.  Have you purchased a pair of Roma boots yet?  What were your thoughts?
