Hey everyone! Wednesday night is THE new night for entertainment! I am currently working with WB Word of Mouth to bring more attention to several TV shows.
On ABC, between 8 and 9 EST Hank and The Middle are on. These are hillarius shows! You should really check them out!
Hank ---
This comedy is about Hank Pryor (Kelsey Grammer), a Business executive hot-shot with his wife, Tilly (Melinda McGraw), their daughter, Maddie (Jordan Hinson) & their son, Henry (Nathan Gamble). The big life is great for them until Hank is suddenly canned from his CEO job and has his family relocate from New York to the small southern town of River Bend, Virginia. Life isn't all too grand now with having to live in the same zipcode as Tilly's family, but for Hank, it's starting small to become big.
The Middle ---
Frankie and her husband Mike have lived their whole lives in Orson, Indiana (a fictitious small town, perhaps named after director Orson Welles, whose papers are archived at Indiana University Bloomington's Lilly Library). Mike is a manager at the town quarry and has a sarcastic streak and a tendency toward brutal honesty. Frankie is so far the least successful used-car salesperson at the local dealership. She may not be a high-powered career woman, but when it comes to her family, she'll go to just about any length to hold things together. With kids like hers, she often needs to. Axl, her rebellious teenage son, was conceived with Guns N' Roses playing a significant role; Sue, the awkward teenage daughter, struggles to get into something—anything—she tries out for, yet remains undiscouraged; and seven-year-old son Brick's best friends are his backpack, and his imagination.
On CBS, The New Adventures of Old Christine at 8/7 Central
The New Adventures of Old Christine ---
In the show, Louis-Dreyfus stars as Christine Campbell, a neurotic divorced mother and owner of a women's gym who is in a constant struggle to keep pace with those around her. A frequent fixture in her life is her irresponsible ex-husband Richard (Clark Gregg) whose new girlfriend (Emily Rutherfurd) is also named Christine, hence the nickname "Old Christine" for the Louis-Dreyfus character. Christine lives with her son Richie and her brother Matthew (Hamish Linklater), while Wanda Sykes portrays Christine's best friend and colleague Barb. Christine also struggles with her inferiority complex with the snotty "cruel bitchy moms" (Alex Kapp Horner and Tricia O'Kelley) at her son's private school.
